About
Intertwined is a fabric collection inspired by the rhythm of fishermen’s nets and the textures of the ocean, created with sustainability at its heart. Reclaimed textiles, from old curtains to second-hand finds, are brought together in a process where two fabrics intertwine, producing two unique samples from a single press, each echoing the same pattern yet connected in a distinct way.
The journey began with digital pattern exploration, experimenting with fabrics and printing techniques on an Epson printer. Sublimation allowed for endless small experiments, combining textures and materials to reveal unexpected harmonies. The collection was conceived for the Epson Textile Print Competition 2022, blending innovation, sustainability, and the poetic beauty of intertwined surfaces.

Intertwined est une collection de tissus inspirée par le rythme des filets de pêcheurs et les textures de l’océan, conçue avec la durabilité au cœur du projet. Des textiles récupérés, allant de vieilles tentures à des trouvailles en seconde main, sont assemblés dans un processus où deux tissus s’entrelacent, produisant deux échantillons uniques à partir d’une seule pression, chacun reprenant le même motif tout en étant relié de manière distincte.
Le travail a commencé par l’exploration numérique des motifs, en expérimentant avec différents tissus et techniques d’impression sur imprimante Epson. La sublimation a permis de réaliser de nombreux petits essais, combinant textures et matériaux pour révéler des harmonies inattendues. La collection a été conçue pour le Epson Textile Print Competition 2022, alliant innovation, durabilité et la beauté poétique des surfaces entrelacées.
