AboutDesigner biography and CV
Anja Matičič is a Slovenian fashion and textile designer based in Paris. 
She works across print, textile, and fashion design, developing collections that combine emotion, craftsmanship, and contemporary aesthetics. 
Her creative process is driven by research and experimentation, exploring how color, material, and form can evoke a sense of sensibility and place.

A Master’s graduate in fashion and textile design from the University of Ljubljana, with an half a year studies focused on textile design at Aalto University in Finland, Anja has lived and worked in Ljubljana, Madrid, Helsinki, and Paris. Alongside her professional experience in textile and print design, she continues to create personal projects and collectios that reflect her artistic vision: bridging storytelling, sustainability, and visual experimentation. 

Her work has been showcased internationally through exhibitions, fashion shows, and editorials, including Cold Magazine, Artego,  Ljubljana fashion week, VBRA fashion show, Vogue Photo (styling assistant) and in the museum de la Toile de Jouy.


 FR: Anja Matičič est une designer de mode et textile slovène basée à Paris. Elle travaille dans les domaines de l’imprimé, du textile et de la mode, développant des collections qui allient émotion, savoir-faire et esthétique contemporaine. Son processus créatif repose sur la recherche et l’expérimentation, explorant comment la couleur, la matière et la forme peuvent éveiller sensibilité et identité.

Diplômée d’un Master en design de mode et textile à l’Université de Ljubljana, avec une année d’études de six mois centrée sur le design textile à l’Université Aalto en Finlande, Anja a vécu et travaillé à Ljubljana, Madrid, Helsinki et Paris. En parallèle de son expérience professionnelle dans le design textile et d’imprimés, elle poursuit des projets et collections personnels qui reflètent sa vision artistique, alliant storytelling, durabilité et expérimentation visuelle.

Ses créations ont été présentées à l’international lors d’expositions, de défilés et d’éditoriaux, notamment Cold Magazine, Artego, la Ljubljana Fashion Week, le VBRA Fashion Show, Vogue Photo (en tant qu’assistante stylisme) et au Musée de la Toile de Jouy.

Graphic & Print Designer
Lollipops (Groupe Rand), Paris — Dec. 2022 – Present
  • Full development of print collections (all-over & placed) for scarves, textiles, and accessories, including color palette management and print placement.
  • Research and creation of trend boards: graphic treatments & color atmospheres.
